ConnectWiz for Google Business

Premium channel

Your Google rating is your storefront. Put it in a queue someone works.

Before customers call, they read. ConnectWiz turns every location’s Google reviews into a triaged queue with AI-drafted replies you approve — including the years of history you never answered, imported without waking a single old customer.

Connect & import

One Google sign-in. Every location. All of history.

Connecting is a picker, not a project — and the import respects the one rule most tools break: years-old reviews must arrive quietly.

Abstract 3D illustration: a glowing blue map pin surrounded by floating glass star shapes streaming into a translucent inbox tray

OAuth with a location picker

Sign in with Google, see every location across your Business Profile accounts, pick the ones to manage. Tokens stay server-side — they never touch your browser.

One channel per location

Each branch becomes its own channel: its reviews route to its manager, its stats stand alone, and headquarters still reads one consolidated queue. Franchise-grade by default.

Silent history import

One click walks your entire review history into the queue — up to 2,000 reviews per run, resumable and safe to re-run. Silent by design: no notifications fire, and the AI never answers a three-year-old review by accident.

Replies mirror both ways

Answered a review in the Business Profile app? It arrives here already marked replied — no double answers, no AI triggered on it. Publish from ConnectWiz and Google shows it as the business, instantly.

The review desk

A queue built around one question: what still needs an answer?

Reviews share the same triage desk as comments from ten other platforms — one workflow, one tone, every public surface.

"Needs reply" is the home view

The default queue shows exactly the reviews that are open and unanswered — from either side. Everything else (replied, dismissed) files itself out of the way.

Filter by stars, person, place

Slice the queue by rating, location, assignee — including the "unassigned" bucket that shows what’s falling through — or free-text search across review bodies and authors.

Bulk triage, singular replies

Select a hundred reviews and assign, dismiss or request AI drafts in one motion. Publishing, though, stays one review at a time — on purpose. Public answers deserve individual attention, and bulk-posting is how brands end up famous for the wrong reason.

Ownership, not vibes

Reviews are assigned like conversations — each one has a name on it, keyboard-first navigation keeps triage fast, and unread badges per source show what piled up overnight.

Told "why not" before you type

When an action isn’t possible — a review Google has since removed, a capability a platform doesn’t offer — the desk says so before you write the reply, not after you’ve lost it to an API error.

Reviews beside everything else

The same desk triages comments from Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and the app stores — your public reputation is one workflow, not five tabs with five owners.

AI replies

Wiz drafts from your content. You press publish.

Grounded, not generic

Drafts are written from your own knowledge base — your policies, your tone, the review’s actual specifics — not a template with the business name mail-merged in.

Every mode ships OFF

Automated public replies exist for teams that want them — but all AI reply modes default to off. Nothing answers your customers in public until you decide it should.

Draft on demand

Any single review can get a one-off AI draft even with automation fully off — and an on-demand draft never posts itself. It waits, editable, for a human verdict.

Metered like everything else

AI drafting counts against your plan’s AI allowance with the same meter as the inbox — no surprise line items, and quota exhaustion degrades to manual, never to silence.

The honest fine print

What Google’s platform doesn’t allow — in writing, before you buy

Most tools hide platform limits behind "contact sales". We publish them, because you’ll hit them either way.

Reviews only — by Google’s choice

Google shut down Business Profile chat messaging for everyone in July 2024. Any tool still advertising "Google messages" is describing the past. This channel is reviews, done properly.

Up to 30 minutes of latency

Google provides no webhook for reviews, so every tool polls — we do it every 30 minutes and tell you, instead of implying "real-time" that no one can deliver.

No private replies

Google exposes no messageable identity for reviewers, so no platform can take a review private. Your reply is public — which is also why it’s worth writing well.

Reply is the only verb

Google reviews can’t be hidden or deleted by tooling — only answered (or reported to Google through their own process). The desk doesn’t show buttons that can’t work.

The local playbook

Reviews are how neighborhoods choose

Reply rate is visible

On a Business Profile, prospects see whether the owner answers — a profile where every review gets a considered reply reads as a business that will answer them too.

The one-star sprint

A bad local review costs walk-ins this week, not this quarter. The needs-reply queue puts it first, with an owner and a clock, while the story is still fresh enough to fix.

Themes by location

Tag what recurs — parking, wait times, a specific shift — and the reviews feed becomes an operations report the branch manager can act on.

Premium channel

What it costs

ConnectWiz side

  • Review channels are premium: a Pro-plan channel pick, or $19/month as an add-on
  • All your locations under one connection — the add-on isn’t per branch
  • AI drafting draws on your plan’s normal AI allowance

Google side

Google charges nothing for review access or replies — there is no usage meter on this channel, on either side. Your only spend is attention, which is exactly what the queue is built to economize.

Google Business FAQ

Before you connect

More in the full FAQ, or ask us directly.

Yes — that’s the design. One Google sign-in discovers every location on your Business Profile accounts; you pick which ones to connect and each becomes its own channel, so every branch’s reviews route to its own people while leadership sees one consolidated queue.

One click imports your full review history — thousands of reviews if you have them — silently: no notifications fire and the AI never auto-answers a three-year-old review. The import is safe to re-run; nothing duplicates.

Only if you turn that on. All AI reply modes ship off by default; the everyday flow is that Wiz drafts a reply grounded in your own content and a human approves it. You can also request a draft on any single review without enabling any automation.

ConnectWiz notices. Reply state is mirrored both ways: a review answered in the Business Profile app, or by a colleague elsewhere, arrives already marked as replied — it never sits in your queue pretending to need an answer, and the AI is never triggered on it.

Every unanswered review is a shrug in public.

Connect your locations, import the history quietly, and give your Google reputation an owner.
