ConnectWiz for LINE
Early accessIn Japan and Thailand, LINE isn’t an app. It’s the phone.
If you sell into Japan, Thailand or Taiwan, LINE is where trust happens. ConnectWiz connects your Official Account into the shared inbox — text conversations today, in early access, engineered around LINE’s real API behaviors.

The case for the channel
Why LINE decides East Asia
The default messenger
Japanese, Thai and Taiwanese consumers expect brands on LINE the way Europeans expect email — an Official Account is table stakes for cross-border sellers.
The timezone gap, covered
Wiz answers Tokyo’s afternoon during your night, in the customer’s language, from your content; escalations wait in a routed queue for your morning.
Native-language answers
Language is detected per conversation — a Japanese question gets a Japanese answer, and your team can follow with two-way translation.
Connect & security
Engineered like a channel, not bolted on like a plugin
Every LINE event is cryptographically verified and deduplicated before it can touch a conversation — the boring guarantees that make a bridge trustworthy.
Token + secret, checked live
The channel access token is validated against LINE’s API before saving; the channel secret verifies every inbound event with a base64 HMAC compared in constant time.
Webhook binds itself
The endpoint registers automatically through LINE’s own API on connect — no console round-trip, with the status recorded honestly if registration can’t complete.
Batches, handled
LINE delivers events in batches; each is processed individually with its own idempotency key — a burst never becomes a blur, and one bad event never sinks its batch.
Push, not reply — on purpose
LINE’s reply tokens expire in moments; an agent answering ten minutes later would fail. Replies use push delivery, so the answer arrives however long the human took.
The inbox
The full inbox treatment, from message one
Routed conversations
LINE messages land as conversations with department routing, assignment, tags, internal notes with @mentions and full history — on desktop and the agent mobile app.
Wiz answers first
The AI agent answers from your own content in 52 languages, escalates to humans with the thread attached, and hands back with one click — the same brain as every other channel.
One customer record
The LINE identity joins the same CRM contact as email and every other channel — one person, one history, one consent state.
Two-way translation
Agents read incoming messages in their language on demand and send drafts translated into the customer’s — per message, cached for the next reader.
Business-hours aware
Out-of-hours messages get honest expectations and land at the top of the morning queue; the first-response clock measures humans, not bots.
Text, reliably
Two-way text messaging is the scope today — sent through LINE’s official API, tracked on the conversation, never silently dropped.
Under the hood
The plumbing that makes "early access" safe to run
Exactly-once by ledger
Idempotency prefers LINE’s stable webhook event ID and falls back to the message ID — retries die at the database, not in your inbox.
One pipeline for all
Routing, AI triggering, blocking and history run through the same message service as every channel — identical behavior by construction.
Failures say why
A rejected push marks the message failed with the reason attached — silent drops are the failure mode we refuse.
A sourced ceiling
The 5,000-character limit comes from LINE’s development guidelines and is enforced at write time, with the source cited in code.
The honest scope
What "early access" means here — in writing
Enabled with you, not at you
The integration is built and verified, but hasn’t yet carried enough live production traffic for an unconditional "live" label — so we enable it per workspace, with our team alongside. That’s what the badge means.
Text today
Media, buttons and rich elements are on the roadmap and deliberately unpromised — a page that sells a composer feature that isn’t there yet costs more trust than it earns.
Optimistic delivery
Sends are confirmed at the API level; per-message delivery receipts aren’t wired on this channel yet, and the thread doesn’t pretend otherwise.
No group chats
LINE group and room events without a user identity are deliberately skipped — group support is a designed feature, not a side effect we let happen accidentally.
Roadmap & graduation
What ships next — and what flips the badge
The graduation bar is measurement, not marketing: enough live production traffic to verify the channel end to end. Then the badge comes off and these land, in order.
Flex Messages
LINE’s signature card layouts are the flagship graduation item — receipts and confirmations that look native because they are.
Media both ways
Photos, stickers and files follow the same honest sequence.
Delivery receipts
API-level confirmation today; per-message receipts with graduation.
Standard channel
What it costs
ConnectWiz side
- LINE is a standard channel: one of your plan’s included picks, or $9/month as an add-on — the same price during early access
- Early access adds hands: we enable and watch the channel with you, at no extra cost
- Conversations count toward your plan’s normal allowance; AI answers draw on your AI credits
LINE side
Your LINE account, verification and any platform-side terms stay between you and LINE — ConnectWiz adds no markup and never proxies your account relationship.
Tokyo answers LINE first. Now you can too.
Request early access and we’ll enable the channel with you — honestly scoped from day one.
