ConnectWiz for Viber

Early access

In half of Europe, 'text us' means Viber.

Ukraine, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, the Philippines — in Viber-first markets this is the channel customers check before email exists to them. ConnectWiz serves it from the same inbox as everything else: text conversations today, in early access, scope stated honestly.

The case for the channel

Why Viber earns a slot

Viber-first markets are real

In Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the Philippines, Viber is the default "text the business" app — ignoring it means ignoring how those customers actually reach out.

Wiz speaks the region

Automatic language detection covers Viber’s multilingual reality — a Serbian question gets a Serbian answer, grounded in your own content.

One regional strategy

Viber for the Balkans beside WhatsApp for MENA and LINE for East Asia, all in one queue with one CRM — exactly the job this platform exists for.

Connect & security

Engineered like a channel, not bolted on like a plugin

Every Viber event is cryptographically verified and deduplicated before it can touch a conversation — the boring guarantees that make a bridge trustworthy.

One token, verified live

Paste your Viber bot token; it’s validated against Viber’s account API before the channel exists — a bad token never creates a half-dead channel.

Webhook wires itself

Registration happens automatically on connect — and deregisters cleanly on delete. No partner-panel spelunking, no orphaned endpoints.

Token doubles as proof

Viber signs events with your token; every inbound is HMAC-verified against it in constant time, so spoofed webhooks bounce at the door.

Limits from the source

Viber’s 7,000-character cap is enforced at write time with the source cited — your agent learns at the composer, not from a failed send.

The inbox

The full inbox treatment, from message one

Routed conversations

Viber messages land as conversations with department routing, assignment, tags, internal notes with @mentions and full history — on desktop and the agent mobile app.

Wiz answers first

The AI agent answers from your own content in 52 languages, escalates to humans with the thread attached, and hands back with one click — the same brain as every other channel.

One customer record

The Viber identity joins the same CRM contact as email and every other channel — one person, one history, one consent state.

Two-way translation

Agents read incoming messages in their language on demand and send drafts translated into the customer’s — per message, cached for the next reader.

Business-hours aware

Out-of-hours messages get honest expectations and land at the top of the morning queue; the first-response clock measures humans, not bots.

Text, reliably

Two-way text messaging is the scope today — sent through Viber’s official API, tracked on the conversation, never silently dropped.

Under the hood

The plumbing that makes "early access" safe to run

Processed exactly once

Each event claims a unique key in the idempotency ledger before processing — Viber retries are recognized at the database layer and dropped.

Same pipeline, same rules

Inbound rides the exact message service every channel uses — routing, AI, blocking and history are identical by construction.

Named failures

A send Viber rejects is marked failed with its reason on the thread — no silent drops, no fake ticks.

Subscribed, then filtered

We subscribe to Viber’s conversation events and deliberately act only on messages today — acknowledged-and-set-aside beats half-handled.

The honest scope

What "early access" means here — in writing

Enabled with you, not at you

The integration is built and verified, but hasn’t yet carried enough live production traffic for an unconditional "live" label — so we enable it per workspace, with our team alongside. That’s what the badge means.

Text today

Media, buttons and rich elements are on the roadmap and deliberately unpromised — a page that sells a composer feature that isn’t there yet costs more trust than it earns.

Optimistic delivery

Sends are confirmed at the API level; per-message delivery receipts aren’t wired on this channel yet, and the thread doesn’t pretend otherwise.

No keyboards yet

Viber’s button keyboards aren’t implemented — a page that sells keyboards a composer doesn’t have is how trust dies. They’re a graduation item, not a promise.

Roadmap & graduation

What ships next — and what flips the badge

The graduation bar is measurement, not marketing: enough live production traffic to verify the channel end to end. Then the badge comes off and these land, in order.

Media both ways

Photos and files are the first graduation item for this channel.

Viber keyboards

Tappable options for sizes, branches and slots — after media, honestly sequenced.

Delivery receipts

Sends confirm at the API level today; per-message receipts come with graduation.

The integration is built and its inbound path is cryptographically verified, but it hasn’t yet carried enough live production traffic for us to put an unconditional "live" label on it. So we enable it per workspace, with our team alongside — contact us and we’ll switch it on together.

Two-way text conversations with the full inbox treatment: department routing, assignment, tags, history and Wiz AI answers. Media and rich elements are on the early-access roadmap and deliberately not promised before they ship.

With live production traffic: once real workspaces have run the channel through enough volume for the integration’s behavior to be verified end to end, the badge comes off and the roadmap items (media, richer elements, receipts) land one by one. The bar is measurement, not marketing.

Not yet — text conversations are the honest scope today. Keyboards and media are on the early-access roadmap, and this page updates when they ship rather than promising them first.

Viber is a standard channel — $9/month as an add-on or an included plan pick — enabled with our team during early access. Viber’s bot messaging itself carries no per-message fee for this use.
